Your Instructor
I have been teaching English and Spanish languages for the past 8 years overall, and exclusively online for the past 5. I am experienced in teaching to students of all ages but I prefer to teach teens and adults.
In all of my classes, I use a communicative approach to teaching. This means that the activities I plan require student participation and involvement. I vary my activities to make sure that all students get a chance to shine, whether they are visual, auditory or hands-on learners. This makes the classes both more interesting for the students but also more effective.
In addition to being a teacher, I have a 3-year-old daughter who is bilingual. I use many of the same teaching strategies to make sure she gets enough practice for language retention and development.
